Fresh Tomme
Our fresh tomme is here! Flavoursome and creamy, this superb cheese is supremely versatile—once you’ve had it in your fridge, you’ll wonder how you ever made do without it. This small batch of fresh tomme was made by Tristia Lakey and Corinne Blacket of Drysdale Cheeses.
Crafted from cow’s milk, our fresh tomme has a smooth, buttery texture with complex earthy flavours that are accentuated by our gentle cheesemaking methods. Served as is, it makes a fabulous addition to cheese boards, accompanied by fresh or dried fruit and a glass of your favourite wine. It is also ideal for melting and takes so many recipes to another level. Incorporate our fresh tomme into luxurious cheese toasties, omelettes, risottos, pasta or potato bakes, lasagne, sprinkle it on top of homemade pizzas and much more. We’d enjoy every meal smothered in it if we had our way!
This month, our fresh tomme will be available for collection at our Sunbury farm and our farmers’ market stalls at Coburg and Alphington. We have a limited quantity available in 180-200 gram portions.
