COMING SOON..........
We will be launching an opportunity for you to help us fund our Regenerative Micro Dairy!
Our dairy girls have been living their best life with us at Lakey Farm. Our micro dairy will continue to keep mum and calf together, we will paddock milk with calf at foot.
Our commitment to you is to supply farm fresh, regenerative, ethical milk in glass bottles.
For now, enjoy our milk label "Milkmaids" Burchardia umbellata, a native forb growing on our farm.
Join us very soon in funding our portable milking trailer, milk room and pasteuriser!
REGENERATIVE FARMING
At Lakey Farm, we are converting CO2 into soil carbon by our judicious regenerative farming. Crash grazing with high stocking rates, rotational mixed grazing, respecting native pasture, cover cropping, native tree revegetation and wildlife corridors, and use of dung beetles.
We raise livestock
We graze the pasture
We farm the soil

Rotational Grazing
Livestock are moved through our paddocks, the rotations are timed to allow native grasses and forbs to flower and set seed
