Ryelands are a British meat sheep and we love them. They are a particular breed, they do as they want pretty much......they happy to graze on their own away from the flock and are not particulary flighty, which does make them excellent mothers.

They have a delightful triangular woolly face which makes them look a bit like a teddy bear. They are squat and round, which does drive the shearers a bit spare! We think they are beautiful.......
